Below is a table listing the different types of seat materials that we offer.
SEAT ASSEMBLY
A vulcanized seat is not replaceable but is suitable for end-of-line services. Its lifespan is the longest due to its robustness and thickness.
The replaceable seat can be either a backing ring or a soft seat, both of which are thinner. Backing rings are easiest to machine on the body but difficult to replace on-site. They are less expensive and less durable. Alternatively, soft seats are thicker in construction, have a longer lifespan, and are easier to replace on-site.
Selecting the right butterfly valve for the system is vital to ensure years of trouble-free service and to avoid high replacement costs.
