The FIVC Gate Valve is designed to be installed in pipelines only for isolating purposes.

The gate valve provides a shut-off function and should operate in fully open or fully closed positions and should not be used as a control-, or regulating valve.

The OS&Y structure is advantageous for both the lubrication of the stem, the easiness of maintaining the packing gland, the easiness of insulation, and the visibility of its open and closed position. Besides, this structure requires lower operating torques leading to economic advantages for manual operation. Furthermore, they provide a longer lifespan since the stem is kept out of the media, preventing them from erosion.

This gate valve is suitable for Water, Oil, and Gas, and is WRAS-approved.
